Just thought I'd let you guys have a sneak preview on a skin that's on the making.It's a collab between sionthede and me; I designed it and he is coding it. It's still in early stages, but expect to see it done soon.

New Skin and some reminders
Okay, it had been a while since I released an IF skin, but today I finally released Strawberry Fields. I say finally because I've had this skin lying around on my computer for around six months and for the most diverse reasons never had the chance to post it. As the name obviously implies, this was inspired by The Beatles' Strawberry Fields Forever. Take a look at it if you haven't yet.
Also, I'd like to give some reminders to you guys. The first is about the Olympics. New events will take place all through the olympics so take a look there often to see if there's something new going on.
The second is about the Graphic of the Month contest. This month's theme is 'Posting Buttons', so if you enjoy making buttons be sure to participate.

Holidays, yes please!
After a month that actually felt like an year, I'm finally enjoying my winter break (yes, it is winter down here in Brazil). I've been neglecting this blog, and the TZ as well to a certain extend, to concentrate on getting decent grades on my midterm exams and several presentations I had to do. What worries me a bit is that after all that I'm not sure I did that well on some of the exams, namely the sociolinguistics one.
Anyway, I have a month break starting this week so you can expect some new things to come during this time.

TZ Icontest #1
I'd like to point you all that have a graphics editing program to our Icontest that's taking place this week on the Graphics Warzone. If you like making icons, or avatars as some of you call them, be sure to get an entry.
Also, be sure to keep an eye at the Warzone because we'll have contests going on there regularly.

Zetaboards is here
After some time of high expectance regarding the future of the IF Skin Zone, Zetaboards finally arrived. And with it several changes to the board, changes that go from subtle, like the changes made to the skin for the conversion, to blatantly obvious, like the new way our skins and themes are sorted. True, these changes do not please everyone, but what change does? Myself, I'm truly happy to see these finaly happening.
It was hard work making some of these changes and some of the changes that will happen in due time, but the end result pays it off.
I think another important aspect of this conversion to ZB is the activity boost it brought, Before the conversion we could see several complaining about the SZ going down hill and people guessing it would only become worse with Zetaboards. But activity has skyrocket since the conversion and the place seems as lively as I remember it from when I joined back in the end of 2003. I've been feeling rather nostalgic because of this.
Some of you might be wondering about the name I gave to this blog. "Ex Adytum" is latin and means "From the Temple".
As a last note on this post, I'd like to thank Nicola. She did a terrific job converting the skin and I don't think she gets enough credit for what she has done for the Zone during the time she was here with us. Honestly, I feel sad when I see people bashing her as much as they do.
