InvisionFree To ZetaBoards
The topic that most everyone is speaking about these days, whether they should convert their board to ZetaBoards or just stay on the more simple InvisionFree side of things. If you haven't tried out a ZetaBoard yet, I urge you to create a test board and mess with the settings.
At first the ZetaBoards Admin Control Panel is a bit scary and much more complex than the InvisionFree ACP. After you get used to it, you will love the ZetaBoards Admin Control Panel. The ZetaBoards Admin CP is very simple to figure out because it's easy to navigate, and much help here at the ZBTZ and the ZB Support forum. My favourite feature of the ZetaBoards Admin CP has to be the images seperated into categories rather than one section like on InvisionFree. Overall the ACP for ZetaBoards is great once you get used to it.
Theming ZetaBoards is going to be all the rage for the life of ZetaBoards. Right now we are in the earliest stages of theming as InvisionFree was when it was first launched. There are several great themes now, but in a couple years think of what is going to be the best skin out there, what are the trends currently? It's all a matter of time. Following InvisionFree's skinning development is a great way to think about ZetaBoard's theming. At first InvisionFree's skins weren't the best, they were simple yet everyone loved them. Later and later they kept on getting more and more mind blowing and much more advanced than you would everthing. Now going onto the coding of ZetaBoards themes. The move from InvisionFree to ZetaBoards CSS is a bit hard to get, the ZetaBoards CSS is much longer and a bit harder to modify for some people. I have created 2 themes and a couple InvisionFree skins, I really prefer ZetaBoards CSS rather than InvisionFree.
All the features, where to start? ZetaBoards introduced features that were never thought to be in any free forum host, some of them aren't even in the paid forum software. Obviously ZetaBoards has several more features than InvisionFree. Most ZetaBoards features are ones that InvisionFree members have wanted for sometime such as a skin selector, custom profile fields, and many more.
ZetaBoards is a great piece of software, even if it is a change from the good old InvisionFree. Break your habits of IPB 1.3 and explore ZetaBoards you will love it at some point, I guarantee it. I love ZetaBoards and I can't wait till I see some new themes here on the ZetaBoards Theme Zone.

I've had a testing forum on ZetaBoards ever since it was released. At first I hated it, but ever since the conversion of the IFSZ I have started to like it more and more. ZetaBoards is a software with great potential, which is much better than InvisionFree or any IPB 1.3 host for any matter. My next forum is opening on ZetaBoards, and I'm glad to be opening on ZetaBoards. I will not give any information out right now but expect some soon.
