Welcome to the 2nd annual InvisionFree and ZetaBoards anniversary celebration!

This month marks the 7th anniversary of InvisionFree and the 2nd anniversary for ZetaBoards. Last year we held our first anniversary celebration and it met with much success. For those of you that missed it, the anniversary is our chance to make a few exciting announcements and emphasize the great community we have across the network. Last year saw the debut of ZB Premium among other things.

This year we have also added the official Zathyus Networks Resources board to the mix. So while you're looking for ways to customize your community, you'll be able to participate in anniversary events there as well.

Over the next 3 weeks, we're going to be running several community games on both this board and the official support board. We'll have several prizes given away as well as larger prizes that can be earned through our Anniversary Point System. Of course we also have a few little announcements for everyone to look forward to.

We hope you'll be able to join us, and keep an eye out for more specific announcements with details on prizes and events.

As mentioned last week, we have decided to open accept applications for new designers and code team members to join our team. Please understand however that we have some requirements you must meet. They are listed below

• Please apply to ONE of the positions below. Choose either Theme/Graphics Designer or Coder.
  
• This application may be posted elsewhere, so please take each question seriously even if it seems unnecessary or repetitive, the questions are there for a reason.
  
• The application must be filled out completely. Applications that do not provide the required information will be discarded.
  
• Do not submit any custom resume with your application or in place of our application. Your application will be discarded.
  
• Do not PM your application. E-mail it to stephen@zetaboards.com with your User Name and the position you are applying for (Ex: StephenZB for Resources Team). Applications that fail to do this may be overlooked.
  
• Once you've sent your application, please do not contact the staff awaiting an answer. We will be taking our time to go through each applicant thoroughly.

Over the next week or two, several layout changes are being made.

Changes already made:

• Removal of the Zathyus Resources category and the creation of the ZetaBoards Resources and the InvisionFree Resources categories.
  Splitting up the resource databases/galleries by software will make it easier for users to find resources pertaining to the software they use.
  
• Tech Central
  Tech Central has been moved back into the main Community category where it used to be in the past.

Changes to come:

• Code Databases
  Code Databases for both forum software will be made visible to the rest of the memberbase once the Code Team have finished preparing them. This includes sorting through the codes previously posted on this board over the years.
  
• Graphics Gallery
  The Graphics Gallery currently contains graphics for both forum software, and general graphics that aren't software specific. Splitting of ZB graphics into a new graphics gallery in the ZetaBoards Resources category will be underway, including management of the miscellaneous graphics forums.
  
• Introduction of 'Learning Sector'
  A new category containing tutorials and more. Exact details of this category are still being hammered out.

The Staff Request forum rules have been updated to include Code Requests. Users may begin submitting requests in both the staff request area and the member request area immediately.

- Zathyus Networks Support and Resource Staff

As we announced on Saturday, in our effort to continue to better serve the members of both Zetaboards and Invisionfree, we are pleased to announce the addition of our Code Team to the Official Resource board. Our goal is to bring you the same exceptional quality of resources that you receive from our talented theme and graphic designers. The Code team will not only be bringing a wealth of submissions that they have already created to our gallery, but they will also be filling your personal staff requests to make you that special code that will allow your board to stand out among others.

I am pleased to present the four members of our Code Team today. HolySavior has agreed to the position of Code Manager. His team will include Reid, Mike and slayer766. Between them, they each have a variety of knowledge and experience that will allow for great things in the future. Please give them a warm welcome.

While the Code Request forums are not yet set up, you should look for these sections to appear throughout the week. Our first priority will be to set up requests as soon as possible. In addition, we will also be holding applications for additional members of the code team to assist our current roster. Look for more details to be given later this week.

As always, we appreciate your patience as we continue to bring changes to the board. There are great things in store for this board and the network as a whole and we hope you will join us as these ideas come to fruition.
