We all shine on Posts: 11,542 Group: Former Staff Member #240,786 Joined: January 8, 2007	They're Gone!? By now, we're sure you've already noticed a few changes around the board; among those, a few familiar names hosting new colors and one less forum in the community. Many factors led up to this decision, but ultimately, we wanted to shift our focus and concern towards the design and community aspects of the boards. To compensate, we will be allowing extended responses in the PYB areas for those that wish to provide and receive critique on the topics posted there. You may even see some former reviewers lurking around that area from time to time as well. The service hosts a large portion of Theme Zone history - over a dozen have tackled the task of overseeing their completion and over 2,500 have been processed in it's tenure. I'd like to extend my thanks to those of you that have made it the service it is today - former purple team members and users alike, and it's been a pleasure being a part of the legacy. Note: If your request was not completed prior to the removal, it will be sent to you via PM.

By spreading the staff out less and narrowing the focus, only good things can arise. Being critical is not a bad thing; it encourages improvement. In this case, however, it is unnecessary. I completely support this move. Reviews are a nice thing to have, but I'm sure the time of the talented individuals that were previously completing reviews will be better spent in other areas of the board.

I sometimes laughed at how review team members from all over the network tell you what to do with your board but can't keep a board alive themselves. A good decision overall if you ask me. At least now you can get a few extra hands to help in the areas that this boards needs tending to.

I remember making that same point in the past. now if a reviewer actually had something to show his way of doing things works aka a board that's active then I wouldn't mind it so much but if you could run a decent board then why would you even want to waste your time telling others what to do instead of you just making it yourself.

When was the last time you requested something? Honestly, why do you even care if it doesn't affect you in any way. You've done nothing but criticize the TZ after that ordeal, get over it. Requests are being taken care of at a moderate level and I have yet to see them go over a page. Therefore, your argument makes no sense. As for new releases, don't expect a new one every day. Edit #2, even though that might seem harsh or whatever, it's the cold hard truth. Anyway...I think this was a good decision. Edited by Dardan, Mar 26 2009, 06:34 PM.

As of now, I don't see anything really improving from a removal of a service. To me, it just seems like the entire review team was busy and couldn't complete reviews thus being removed. When Locke is doing reviews, there has to be some team issues there. O_o That's just speculation, though. Clarification on anything would be great.
	Will I ever see you again?

The fact that Kevin and the staff always held 'Review Competitions' and such, yet no many got promoted. It's the staff's own fault that the Reviews were in back log, reviews weren't getting done on time, and any problem, is at their own fault.
