New Member Posts: 23 Group: Members Member #357,393 Joined: October 28, 2008	I'm just taking a moment to comment on one of the request form restrictions..... We're restricted to only one image - some of us need more than that. For instance on my board (which is a Wii forum) we've chosen mascots for the most popular games played (3 in all) that in addition to the image of the Wii is 4 images. All of which would need to be present on my logo. But from what I understand the GFX team here won't do it becasue of that. I don't mind the time restrictions so much but I think being limited to 1 image is a bit much. Especially since we're required to provide them (Planet Renders FTW). It's not likely that you'll change that, but being that this is the feedback forum I just thought I'd say something. Thank you for your time and consideration. -Boss Jr. P.S: Just to clarify..... it's not like I'm too lazy to make GFX on my own or anything like that. My only internet is throught my Wii which doesn't support GFX making software (not even PhotoBucket) so it's just not within my ability to make GFX. Which is a shame because most GFX forums intentionally make it difficult to request as they're trying to encourage people to learn to make their own GFX. Again, not able to do it on the Wii. I didn't actually want to mention a number because I didn't want to sound like I was only thinking of myself. Mentioning any number over 4 might have suggested that. Anyway, I'm anxious to see the staff weigh in on this and get their take on the situation.

I think around 3 images sounds more reasonable. Edit;; You can't really fit in 5 images into a banner effectively unless you don't want any text. But I think we can work with something along the lines of actually removing the restriction and work with a case by case scenario. So, if someone goes to the point of providing too many images, he can be notified in the topic that they won't fit, they're too big or whatever the problem may be. This problem has come up a few times with members saying why they can't provide more than one images and I say as long as people don't over do it, I see no harm at all. Here is my old banner and it has 6 images and text. It was skillfully done and the creator took alot of creative licence but it was a great banner and not overdone. http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo26/rebossjr/wiiexperiencemonope2.png (My original request for this banner called for only one image; which was never used in the final banner, they added the 6 images used entirely of their own free will.)

I always use it, easier than saving each image to Photo Bucket . If you can't find what you need there, you're not looking hard enough. And if they still don't have it, then they have a forum where you can request it.

But yeah, if they provide renders, usually it is much easier as you can just shrink them down and don't have to use the pentool (or even eraser at times) to cut out the background and whatnot.

But I think there should be a higher number of images for the renders, maybe make a statement like: Only one stock image, but up to (3-5, staffs choice) renders. and maybe to save the confusion have a topic explaining the difference between renders and stock images that you put the link to in the rules.
